About the hub

the hub – is a non profit distributing organisation, run as a joint venture between South London football club, Tooting & Mitcham United, and Sport England. In 2005, Sport England and the Big Lottery Fund gave the club £1.45 million to develop stadium buildings and outdoor facilities for the benefit of the local community.

the hub – works with individuals and organisations – including those involved in sport, health and education – to build valuable community partnerships. As a special offer, local people can register as members of the hub for free – with the chance to purchase from a broad range of affordable and enjoyable activities.

the hub – is a huge step towards creating a community sports club that provides opportunities for all while nurturing and empowering individual talent. Future plans include indoor cricket, boxing and basketball facilities and an upgrade of the adjoining training pitch.
